Since our visit to the Guanlan Sisters in 2004, our family has wanted to return to China to visit the girls and their families in their home village of Shangluo Perfecture.  We realized our dream in July of 2010.  These are some images from that remote, but beautiful village.

In the fall of 2004, Dr. Seeberg undertook a research trip to rural northwest China.  The highlight of the journey was when she and her family had their first meeting with several of the Guanlan Sisters.  We invite you to share that wondrous moment when they met "Guanlan's Mama!"
